Flower Street, Castle

I was driving down Flower Street in Castle the other day, and noticed the little single storey garage/workshop part way down on the left.

Does anyone know how it came to be there. This seems to be the only commercial property on flower Street, but why is it there? Was Flower Street originally built with this unit half way down, it looks quite old. Was there a house there originally which has since been knocked down or was there a space here which was filled in with the unit as other streets were built up in the area.

Just wondered if anyone out there knew anything about it.
